NICHOLE DUNST
I’m Nichole — a licensed esthetician, holistic health coach, and the founder of Ecology Room.
My path into skincare wasn’t linear. After spending over six years working as a flight attendant, I found myself deeply curious about the body, stress, circadian rhythm, and what it actually means to care for ourselves in a sustainable way. That curiosity eventually led me to esthetics — but not in the conventional sense.
From the beginning, I knew I wasn’t interested in quick fixes, aggressive protocols, or “one-size-fits-all” solutions. I was drawn to a more ecological view of the skin: one that recognizes the skin as a living, responsive organ that reflects what’s happening internally — from digestion and hormones to stress and nervous system regulation.
MY APPROACH
I believe healthy skin is not something we force — it’s something we support.
My work is rooted in the understanding that the skin functions as part of a much larger system. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I focus on creating the right internal and external conditions for the skin to regulate, repair, and heal itself.
In practice, this means:
-Respecting the skin barrier and microbiome
-Working with the nervous system, not against it
-Prioritizing regeneration over correction
-Using the least invasive tools necessary to create real change
Beauty is pleasure.
My facials combine plant-based, biocompatible skincare with non-invasive regenerative modalities, advanced facial massage, and intentional touch. Each treatment is highly customized and designed to be both corrective and restorative — supporting the skin while also signaling safety and relaxation to the body as a whole.
I don’t subscribe to the old adage “beauty is pain.” I believe beauty is the natural expression of a system that is nourished, regulated, and supported — where caring for yourself becomes a ritual of pleasure, not punishment.
Beauty is an inside job.
Just as important as what I do in the treatment room is how I work with my clients. I take time to understand your history, your lifestyle, and your goals. My role is not to “fix” your skin, but to help you understand it — and to guide you toward practices that create lasting resilience, not dependency.
